Barnard continues to flourish, building on the promise we made from the beginning—to educate extraordinary young women to become even more exceptional. Today, admission to the College remains highly selective, with an acceptance rate of 23 percent for the Class of 2018—the lowest of any women's college in the country. With a renowned faculty of teacher/scholars and a devoted administration to guide us, we are broadening our global reach, expanding our curriculum, enhancing our physical space, and connecting our students with the City in new and innovative ways.
The Barnard community is proud of the unique story of our founding, and prouder still of what we’ve achieved since then. And we are looking ahead to a future that’s brighter than ever.
We are pleased to welcome you to Barnard College.
